The full name of PFC in English is "Power Factor Correction", which means "power factor correction". The power factor refers to the relationship between effective power and apparent power, that is, the ratio of effective power divided by total power consumption (apparent power).

Generally, for a 230VAC input, the PF requirement is greater than 0.9, but sometimes the relevant parameters of the PFC circuit cannot meet this requirement. At this time, we need to fine-tune some parameters to meet the requirement that the PF value is greater than 0.9.
The following is the PFC module circuit. For the case where the PF value is low, there are two ways to solve this problem:
- Increase the inductance of PFC inductor L2; the higher the inductance of L2, the higher the PF value.
2. Reduce the capacity of CBB capacitor C1/C2. The lower the capacity, the higher the PF value.
